Chris Neilands

Chris Neilands imageChris is the founder and president of Affinity Leadership Group. Her focus is on leadership and executive coaching and career development. Chris spent 16 years working in leadership roles at two major universities. She has worked in the MBA programs at The University of Georgia and Purdue University in marketing, career management and alumni relations. She has managed the leadership coaching engagement for the Executive MBA program at The University of Georgia and served as a leadership coach for the past five years. Chris has had a career coaching business for several years and has experience working with a wide range of clients. Chris also has five years of corporate human resource experience working as a consultant for designated business units. She has experience designing and delivering workshops, training programs and distance learning content.

Chris earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Purdue University. She completed the coach training program from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). She also earned the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coach Federation. Chris completed a 10-month leadership development program through the Coaches Training Institute. She is certified in a number of assessment tools including the Leadership Circle Profile, Leadership Circle Culture Survey, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory. When she is not coaching or managing the business, Chris enjoys rowing her boat on the Chattahoochee, hiking and climbing in beautiful parks and discovering new places off the beaten path. Chris resides in Atlanta, GA.
